My Background

My Inspiration & Mediums

I’ve done many different forms of art throughout my life, from basket weaving to mosaics! My 'work' career over the years has included being a mail carrier, working at a chemical explosives plant, managing two live theatres, being a tour guide in St Augustine & Sarasota, FL then a Tour Director for the company.

When Covid 19 hit the USA in the spring of 2020, I was suddenly I was out of work and we made the decision to return to Ohio.

After a lifetime of scurrying around in various jobs, I turned to my art to create a peaceful spot in my days to relax and forget about the news.

When I ‘retired’ to the country with my husband Randy, I finally had the time to devote to my passion for COLORS and found my Zen.

We relocated to Salisbury, NC in May of 2024 and and are exactly where we need to be at this moment of out lives.

I hope you enjoy my creations!

My Inspiration & Mediums

Many of my pieces are directly influenced by a connection with nature. Since I also love learning, it is always exciting to research ways to add new elements and techniques to my work.

I use many different mediums such as acrylics, beads or fabric depending on what I sparks my interest while creating a piece. I believe that working in only a single medium forever is too restrictive in my artistic journey and believe that intuition is a huge part of that journey.

Each piece manifests in its own individual style through intuition and becomes what it was meant to be.
